The Brighter Side Of Staying Hungry
Staying hungry is no longer a reason to whine over. A latest study has shown that there is a relation between staying hungry and living longer. Johannes Bauer, Ph.D., a researcher from Southern Methodist University, claims to have found the secret to stay young forever. According to him, Calorie Restriction Diet is the secret.
Dr. Bauer conducted an experiment on fruit flies by feeding them a mixture of sugar and yeast on alternate days in order to study its effect on the flies’ health and longevity. He found that consuming thirty to forty per cent lesser calorie daily has a positive effect on its life span. The reduced consumption resulted in the increase of the flies’ lifespan by ten to forty percent as compared to its natural lifespan.
This experiment holds valid even in the case of humans says Dr. Bauer. Although semi-starvation does not excite anybody, calorie restriction has surely made hundreds pay attention to this diet. Calorie restriction diet implies under-nutrition without malnutrition. This is believed to be the tool to turn time and become healthier and have a longer lifespan. Another important result of this study is that it has proven that this diet can effectively prevent diseases such as cancer, heart disease, Alzheimer’s and other ailments. Calorie Restriction many experts believe is the only scientific mechanism to have a long and a healthy life.

I think this is an important part of any diet, knowing when you have eaten enough food, people who eat socially suffer from this a lot, as you tend to order more when you eat out. I struggle as well because I used to cook for my family and then moved in with my partner but continued to cook large meals without realising. I have worked hard to put this right but I almost think I stretched my stomach whilst I was overeating. Great post.
research suggest that calorie restriction can also lengthen a person’s life span’;~
