		<description>Hes probably using Olympic Weight plates.. Up to 100 lbs a plate. True the spotters were assisting on the lift.. and the shirt helps a bit.. Still a lot of weight, though not a valid lift..</description>

I am an avid weightlifter and I used to compete and I never saw plates of more than 50 pounds each used.  And....I only see 5 plates on each side.
So, it doesn´t look like more than 500 pounds plus the collars and the bar.
Let alone the spotters are touching the bar on both sides during the lift.  So, certainly NOT a sanctioned world record lift.</description>
